A Conversation on Dust is part of the programme Sòl, Pols, Espant, Ritme and connects Dust Pavilion research with Kapwani Kiwanga’s exhibition at Fundació Joan Miró. The session explores the links between Saharan dust, Algerian onyx, colonial histories and the material imagination of architecture. Through presentations, a walk to the Pavilion and a conversation around Lydia Ourahmane’s work, the programme turns dust into a critical medium for reading ecology, extraction, memory and architectural space.
